During the past 40 years, the company conducted works on MD-620 rocket (60'), reusable launchers with TAS (60'), STAR-H (80'), PREPHA (90') and the famous Hermes a major contribution of Dassault Aviation for european space activities. In recent years, the company is always involved in studies related to manned and unmanned space vehicles. For exemple, the X-38, a demonstrator of Crew Rescue Vehicle (CRV) developped for International Space Station by NASA in which Dassault Aviation contribution on global shape is applicated. Based on its experience in aeronautics programmes and spaceplanes, Dassault Aviation has built-up an important skill in the field of Reusable Launch Vehicles (RLV) and is now involved in the european Future Launcher Technologies Program (FLTP).
